Transition from MLC to TLC Flash
Details of change
STW is transitioning the flash technology in the TCG-4 and TCG-4lite
series from MLC to TLC. This change is necessary to ensure futureproofing
of the product.
Alert impact
As a result of this change, the following modifications will be made to
the product:
The TCG-4 variants with 8GB will be expanded to 16GB.
Instead of 4GB, 9GB will now be reserved for the system.
New part numbers will be associated with this change. Please refer
to the attachment for these new part numbers.
