Due to hardware components limitation of the input amplifier of the EB11, the current models of the EB11 do not tolerate Voltage applied to its inputs during boot up as it causes an initialization failure. After the board is initialized by the application this condition is no longer an issue.

This is a known issue and has been classified as non critical by the factory and therefore all existing components will be used up first before a redesign will be introduced.

New models with improved components will most likely be produced and sold in mid ~2018.

Workaround:

Avoid using EB11 inputs for signals that will be HIGH during boot up. If at all possible avoid signals that are high before the controller has been initialized.

If such signals exist wire them to one of the main board inputs instead.
